"Keyword collection" uses Telegram's official search API, which doesn't handle Chinese well. Searching Chinese terms such as 电商 (e-commerce) or 网赚 (making money online) often returns few results, or none at all. For a reliable stream of groups, we recommend the Bot assistant and Member bios instead.
Telegram's official search is built mainly around English usernames, Latin-alphabet keywords and its existing public index. TGEgg does expand Chinese terms into pinyin and English candidates before searching, but underneath it's still Telegram's limited index. Chinese group names and descriptions often don't match, which is why it can feel like "these groups clearly exist, but search can't find them".

Many Telegram search bots already maintain indexes of Chinese-speaking groups. Enter a keyword, the bot replies with group links in its messages or buttons, and the system turns them into collected results. For Chinese topics like making money online, e-commerce or studying, this is usually far more reliable than official keyword search.
If you've already joined some groups in your target industry, you can mine the bios of their members. Many people list their own promoted groups, channels or business links in their bio, and the system automatically extracts them as new group leads. Great for "starting from one seed group and following the trail to more groups like it".

It does. TGEgg automatically expands terms into pinyin and English candidates before searching. But the expanded terms are still limited by Telegram's index, so there's no guarantee of enough results for Chinese industry terms. That's why we still recommend the bot approach.
They all appear in "Collected results" at the bottom of the same "Find groups" page. Use the source filter to tell sources like "Bot assistant" and "Member bios" apart.
If you already have t.me links (for example, shared by someone else or returned by a bot), you can parse them in bulk in the "Group links" tab. It works well alongside the methods above.
